Equipping the saints for Dinner with Jesus (I’m playing with this sub-title… how should we word this? )
Communion with the High Priest of our faith
Holy Spirit, our Rabboni Teacher, is instructing us (His kingdom priests) to receive the gift of perceiving through the eyes of the High Priest and King of the Kingdom of God – His Dread Champion. [trailing off here for a second… Yes, we are to emulate Him, become like Him – His glory on the earth. We will be more aware of this holy priesthood in this new epoch of time; accepting holy union with Him.] OK back to our Rabboni instructing us.
“I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich,
and white garments so that you may clothe yourself,
and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed;
and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
‘Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore, be zealous and repent.
‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”
Revelation 3:18–20
It is in receiving God’s kindness through repentance that sight given reveals the Door. In receiving the One who stands at the door we accept the invitation to dine with the resurrected Christ. Yes, Holy Communion with the Living Sacrifice! Breaking Bread together draws us close to the Identity and Deity of Jesus Christ – the Glory of the Father.
Such a supper empowers our God-given positions and postures us as watchmen/women priests on Nehemiah’s Wall, and as noblewomen/men in the courts of our King.
Let me introduce this sentence here, and dialogue deeper on this at a later date. Governmentally the river of the Spirit of God’s government carries all that is needed in order for the “spirit of a nation” to bend towards Him. Yes, all these battlefronts are about the identity-spirit of nations responding to God. As we worship and war (from rest) in the valley of decision for the response, our role is to partner with God and bring healing to the land so it can yield its increase.
His strength – His Godhead – His absolute nature is our focus. Yes, the river of His government will stream into nations, causing governments to respond. The muddied waters of destructive accusations are muted in the presence of the Spirit of God’s Government. Breaking Bread together draws us into the Awe of His I AM.
“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes.
Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the hearts.
To do righteousness and justice is desired by the Lord more than sacrifice.”
Proverbs 21:1–3
We are turning toward His ways. This empowers us to move in a victorious knowing and partnership with Him. He is the I Am – the Absolute of the nations. The nations are being beckoned towards His Fathering. Breaking Bread together causes us to yield to His rest, making room for our Dread Champion–the King of His Father’s Kingdom and the comfort of His Father’s eye.
When we, the priestly kingdom*, break bread together we are in the midst of a priestly action. It was the priests of old who ate the meat from the sacrificial offerings*. A percentage was allotted to them, strengthening them as they carried out the sanctuary and court services. Because the ultimate sacrifice was raised above the earth more than 2000 years ago*, we can come together to commemorate and broadcast* what our Highest Priest has done. In so doing, we yield to who He is today and volunteer our lives on the day of His power*.
“He has made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father.”
Revelation 1:6*
“Now this shall be the priests’ due from the people,
from those who offer a sacrifice, either an ox or a sheep,
of which they shall give to the priest
the shoulder and the two cheeks and the stomach.
You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, your new wine, and your oil,
and the first shearing of your sheep.
For the Lord, your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes,
to stand and serve in the name of the Lord forever.”
Deuteronomy 18:3-5*
“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:14–16*
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.”
1 Corinthians 11:26*
“” The Lord says to my Lord:
“Sit at My right hand
Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
The Lord will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power;
In holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
Your youth are to You as the dew.
The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind,
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
The Lord is at Your right hand;
He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.
He will judge among the nations,
He will fill them with corpses,
He will shatter the chief men over a broad country.
He will drink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore, He will lift up His head.”
Psalms 110*
It is to this table that we come to today.
Much Love,
Briskilla
Thank you all for calling the nation to The Table of The Lord. It’s like a CLEAR TRUMPET SOUND for the season we are in as a nation ! In this decade of 5780’s the mouth (voice) is very important, not only what we say but what we allow our hearts to align with through what we hear. This is a Divine connection to move us forward ! So excited to be a part but it is also very sobering. Blessing ~Sandra Williams
