“He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” Colossians 1:18-20
Jesus, sitting here with my fingers on the keyboard, I ponder the very first phrase of this scripture and recognize what Your Father is declaring. You are the Head, You are the Rosh (authority) of Your Body. My response?
Father God, teach me (teach us) to yield to Your Son;
giving Him the throne of authority in our spirit, soul, and body.
Teach us to acknowledge Him in our nations.
Thank You, Redeemer.
We yield You, Living God.
Come and take Your place King of the Highest Kingdom.
Return to us the awe of Your Dread Champion, Oh God;
He who rides throughout the nations, even now.
Teach us to bend to the Shepherd of our soul; for You are the beginning of all things.
Let us bend to You, Priest of our heart; You who released peace through Your sacrifice.
Let us yield to You, The desire of nations.
At the courts of Your presence, we Thank You.
At the gates of Your dwelling, we are in awe of Your goodness, God.

If the Body of Jesus Christ is us. And, yes, we are. Then isn’t it true that the health of a Body is in loving God and loving oneself? Tonight’s meditation continues with this simple prayer. But first, here is the confirmation.
To the question of, “What is the foremost commandment?” Jesus replied
“The foremost is,
‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord;
and you shall love the Lord your God with
all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,
and with all your strength.’
“The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mk 12:29–31
As we begin to break bread together, is it possible that a good, healthy place to start is to ask Holy Spirit our Healer, Comforter, Helper, and Truth Speaker to assist us in restoring our spirit, soul, and body through receiving His celebration of love? If you agree, let’s do that together. For we love as He teaches us through His restoration within us. (Of course, complete this portion as you desire.)
Jesus, You who are the desire of our heart, we draw near to You.
We are in awe that Your desire is towards us.
We receive Your affection seal of love upon us.
Come near and take Your place in us.
Holy Spirit, we acknowledge the weight of Your presence.
Father, we receive our identity spoken by You.
We receive You as Father and God.
We receive Your affectionate joy regarding us.
We receive the restoration of our being.
Forgive us for any agreement with self-hate.
We receive Your assistance into wholeness.
We receive Your firey seal set upon each of Your family members.
❤️👑❤️
As we eat of His bread together, may His love consume our spirit, soul, and body.
As we drink the wine together, may His Holy Spirit and Christ’s perfected obedience (accomplished through His yielded will, mind, and emotions) baptize our spirit, soul, and body; into transformation.
❤️👑❤️
Our prayer as we break bread together is for the miracle of a beautiful shield to form over our nations; made up of all who are called ‘the Body of Jesus Christ’. Honoring and loving God. Honoring and loving one another.”
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the power of His blood and the authority of His resurrection. Amen!
