The CLEAR VIEW of one’s identity will be experienced while revisiting the lens of Christ’s identity.

I often wonder how Jesus was able to accomplish the working out of His identity on the earth within 33 years. He not only accomplished the work of His obedience by the age of 33, he also sealed the success of His commissioning within 3 of those 33 years. Maybe this is key??!

John said about God’s communication with His Son,
“The REVELATION of Jesus Christ which God gave Him …. “ Revelation 1:1a This is an action sentence; one describing a moment between Father and Son, where Father was defining/sculpting/affirming His Son.

The impact is evident through Christ’s conversation with His disciples. Jesus knew, He believed, and loved who He was and from whom He came. Listen to His confident humility “Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.” John 8:42

Within doubt’s dark gravity pull (found like waves on earth’s wilderness floor), the voice of the words of God scripted within the DNA of Jesus, echoed within Christ’s conscience. To allow our thoughts to remember the voice of God is life and anchor.

While satan was tempting Jesus, attempting to arouse Him to embrace a false identity, Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word which proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4. When doubt floods the atmosphere, stand and eat the Word. There is Hope and Help within the ingredients of the Word made flesh. Eat His Flesh.

Let’s lean into the Rock from which we were hewn. Let’s ask for the shield of His faith, and believe that we were created in His image. When we shine folks will do a ‘double take’ certain that Jesus just walked by.
