Daniel’s Fast & Visitation In The Month Of Aviv 

[Daniel’s Fast Aviv 3-24]

[Nisan/Aviv 2026=March 19-April 17]

A MEDITATION

At the time of Daniel 10, in the month of Aviv, he was approximately 90 years old. 

“On the 24th day of the first month,

I, Daniel, was by

the bank of the great river,

Tigris”

Daniel 10:4

It is believed that Daniel’s fast began on the third day of the 1st month of Aviv (a calendar that God gave to Moses at the time of the Exodus from Egypt) because angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel on the 24th day. Below are some significant parallels between the encounters Daniel experienced and those that occurred during Passover, at the time of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice.

The end of the 1st week

10th of Aviv

The Passover Lamb was chosen.

Families brought a spotless lamb into their homes,

abiding with them for 4 days,

giving its life 4 days later.

Centuries later

Christ entered Jerusalem

on the 10th Day of Abib,

and crucified on the 14th day.

The end of the 2nd week

17th of Aviv

Centuries later

Christ arose on this day.

The end of the 3rd week

24th day

The pre-incarnate Christ appears to Daniel

Gabriel informs Daniel of the powers

that resisted him,

delaying his arrival.

Centuries later

Christ appeared to His disciples

a second time-post resurrection 

Christ spoke to them of

the coming of the Holy Spirit,

and His return.

Daniel’s decision to enter a 3-week period of prayer and fasting stemmed from the great sorrow he was experiencing. Such an action moved the heart of God, initiating a visit from one of God’s archangels. Daniel was seeking understanding. God sent the pre-incarnate Christ and Gabriel to reveal current and future events. From the first day Daniel set his heart to understand, to humble himself before God, his words were heard in heaven. Daniel’s words impacted God’s response. 

The spiritual warfare was earth-bound, operating from the second-heaven realms, manifesting both in Jerusalem against the restorers of Jerusalem and in Persia, where Daniel waited 21 days to hear from God. 

Fallen angels (principalities and powers)

holding positions of darkness

in hell’s structures.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:12-13

The intention is to block God’s people from advancing God’s intentions. This is done by warring against the angels of God and negatively influencing the kings of the earth, for the angels of God are to minister to the saints. 

“But to which of the angels has He ever said, ‘Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies A footstool for Your feet’? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?”

Hebrews 1:13-14

In this case, leaders surrounding Jerusalem were accusing, oppressing, and terrifying God’s people. Daniel fasted.

It was time TO Passover once again.

Millions have prayed for heaven to come to earth. Do not be surprised by the Battle waging against the Coming King and His Kingdom.

It’s time.

Daniel saw the Pre-incarnate Messiah. Israel saw the Messiah. All will see His second coming. The war is waging. Prophecy is being fulfilled.

Make room for prayers & supplications so God can hear your voice. Broadcasting prideful opinions does not hold a position in the Kingdom of God nor on God’s theater of war. God’s opinion holds! 

What’s going on on earth and in the heavens today is a foreign language to most. Lets ask God to send His messengers to be our translators. 

Call to Him

Draw near to Him

Seek Him

Ask Him

Worship Him

Watch with Him

Decree His decrees

Pray for Israel to receive the

Spirit of Grace to surrender

as they encounter 

the kindness

of Yeshua

Pray for millions to encounter Jesus

In Iran,

and see Him

as He comes into the

Middle Eastern nations.

Pray for the islands of the south,

in their foundations,

to release such a shout of praise 

that the oceans shake

and the earth experiences

the revealing of the Sons of God.

Pray for the United States of America 

and her allies

to heed the instruction of the 

Messengers of God,

and not to fall into the grip of

unholy powers and principalities. 

Stand and worship the King of kings.

In this way,

pray for all the nations of the earth.

It is time to stand and watch, knowing that all national principalities will answer to God, for God sits on the throne.

The Awe of God is among us.

Pray over the nations that God would release His Spirit of Grace and Supplications, for this will release repentance and intercession in Zion, Jerusalem, and all other nations. 

God, in His communications to Zechariah, trusted him to prophesy, saying,

“I will pour out on the house of David

and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem

the Spirit of grace and of supplication,

so that they will look on Me

whom they have pierced;

and they will mourn for Him,

as one mourns for an only son,

and they will weep bitterly over Him

like the bitter weeping over a

firstborn.”

Zechariah 12:10

The Spirit of Grace and of Supplication released by God brings about His will of redemption. The Holy Spirit empowers those who willingly volunteer in the day of God’s power to disciple the nations.

We cannot force people

of the nations to

turn to God,

nor to repent,

nor pray.

At the Appointed Time

God

moves.

Worship God.

Acquire of Him

His wisdom of His Times.

Lord, Your Grace and Supplications!

“I kept looking,

and that horn was waging war

with the saints

and overpowering them

until the Ancient of Days

came and judgment was passed

 in favor of the saints of the Highest One,

and the time arrived

when the saints

took possession of the kingdom.”

Daniel 7:21-22

“The horses made ready

for the day of battle,

but the victory

belongs to the Lord.”

Proverbs 21:31 

“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”

This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

for our God is a consuming fire.”

Hebrews 12:27

Many will be offended as the Last Day prophecies begin their fulfillment. Earthly safety mechanisms, both psychological, intellectual, and material, will shake. Fear of death is not commissioned by God to tantalize His people. Faith, Trust, and Belief in God’s existence, His plans to advance His Kingdom to its fullness, giving His Son His land and governmental authority on the throne in Zion will take place. 

“For our struggle is not against

flesh and blood,

but against the rulers,

against the powers,

against the world forces of this darkness,

against the spiritual

forces of wickedness

in the heavenly places.”

Ephesians 6:12

“Therefore, take up the full armor of God,

so that you will be able to resist in the evil day,

and having done everything,

to stand firm.”

Ephesians 6:13

The rest of God meant to be adopted by His people places God at the helm.  For rest is found in trusting, believing, and in obedience. This will be found through worship.

“Early in the morning, they got up and left for the Wilderness of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Hear me, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be upheld; believe in His prophets, and you will succeed.”

Then Jehoshaphat consulted with the people and appointed those who would sing to the LORD and praise the splendor of His holiness. As they went out before the army, they were singing:

“Give thanks to the LORD,

for His loving devotion endures forever.”

The moment they began their shouts and praises, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were defeated.”

2 Chronicles 20:20-22

Whether it is now or down the century a ways, Elam (Persia) will belong to the Lord. Isaiah 49 states God’s design for the nation. 

That which came as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying:

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, The finest of their might. ‘I will bring upon Elam the four winds From the four ends of heaven, And will scatter them to all these winds; And there will be no nation To which the outcasts of Elam will not go. ‘So I will shatter Elam before their enemies And before those who seek their lives; And I will bring calamity upon them, Even My fierce anger,’ declares the Lord, ‘And I will send out the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 

‘Then I will set My throne in Elam

And destroy out of it king and princes,’

Declares the Lord.

‘But it will come about in the last days

That I will restore the fortunes of Elam,’ ”

Declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 49:34-39

During this month of Aviv, may the eyes of our hearts be turned towards the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD!
